a few hundred bulbs
Last fall the girls helped me plant a couple hundred bulbs with me. I picked some deer resistant + naturalizing bulbs so we could plant them down beyond the garden. Daffodils, mini tulips, crocus, scilla, snowdrops, and some regular tulips inside the garden fence away from snacking critters. It's been pretty magical watching them pop up and I'm looking forward to watching them creep along and expand in the areas we planted them in as naturalizing bulbs tend to do. For now, each day is a treasure hunt to see what's popping up and blooming.....Aaaand.... no farm chore is complete without a coffee break and visit from Sara the chicken. Joe is her favorite human and she regularly sits on his lap like this or walks around his feet until he picks her up. She's a funny one!xo,s
