Hey there, I’m Steph.

Gardener, herbalist, fiber artist, introvert. Once upon a time my job was military spouse and homeschool mama to four. Now I’m a middle-aged empty nester adjusting to a very quiet house. Life is weird like that.

Named after the ship my love was stationed on in Cordova, Alaska when we met a handful of decades ago, Sweetbrier Farmstead is a homestead and maker studio tucked in the woods of upstate NY. We spend our days tending to the land and caring for a collection of dogs, cats, and a few dozen chickens.

I’m not big on sharing personal photos online these days - the internet has gotten a little weird + wild, right? But I’m revamping my newsletter for a monthly farm update if you’re interested in that.
