some wedding photos

We did it. We pulled off the sweetest little DIY wedding for our oldest daughter. Joe and I are so humbled by the tremendous help from friends far and wide for making this such a special day. It's true that many hands make light work, and we couldn't have pulled this off without them.Below are a few favorite photos of the days leading up to the wedding, and a few candid photos of the big day....Jade + I shared the decorations after cleanup, my porch never looked so pretty! We made, thrifted and borrowed many items to reduce waste + costs. I set the girls loose in the garden the day before with clippers and sap buckets and instructed them to cut it all down! Our oldest son flew in from Louisiana to officiate, and we held a small ceremony in a quiet little spot on the farm where Joe delivered guests via tractor and hayride! Afterwards, we had a larger reception in our field under a tent - with the most perfect weather! Our son-in-law's grandmother, who is in her mid 90's, said it was like an old fashioned wedding and I truly can't think of a better compliment.Congratulations Jade + Chad! We are so excited to see what the future holds for you two. May you continue to be blessed by friends + family who will travel great lengths to support & celebrate you.I'll share more photos when we get the professional ones back.xo,s
